Annual show of the Victoria Lily Society. Highlights include a display of early summer garden flowers and ornamental lilies, floral arrangements, flower arranging demonstrations, and a general plant sale (to include potted lilies).

Entries by the general public are welcome for both the judged competitions and the non-judged displays.

Admission is by donation.

An elegant afternnoon tea will be available for $5.00.

Victoria's premier networking and educational event for gardeners of all abilities! Join us at the first gardening event of the year that features:
open-pollinated, organic, heritage and unique vegetable and flower seeds for sale direct from the growers specialty and native plants, perennials, bulbs, bamboos, rare trees, succulents vegetable seedlings small fruits, fruit and nut trees products from and for the garden cheese, fish, eggs, preserves, local produce, flowers, herbs mason bee boxes, honey, books garden club and non-profit displays and demonstrations Master Gardeners Bring your own saved seeds to donate or trade at the Seed Exchange. Seeds should be cleaned, packaged in clear bags, and labelled with the variety and year saved. The Free Speaker Presentations are one hour in length. markets, all the tasty treats synonymous with warm weather and your local farmer's smiling face? Well,

the Victoria Downtown Public Market Society will lift your spirits by hosting a Winter Market in

Market Square from 11am to 3pm on the third Saturday of each month (through March 2011).

The Winter Market will feature many of your favorite local food producers including Terra Nossa

farm with local meats, Little Qualicum Cheeseworks, Iron Maiden Seafood, Saanich Organics, Bread

by Matt, Vancouver Island Salt Company, Haliburton, Kildara and SunTrio farms plus hot mulled apple

juice from LifeCycles, live music, and much, much more.

Market Square's inner courtyard provides shelter and a unique historical atmosphere to engage every

sense as you wander the stalls and marvel at the surprising amount of local food on offer during the

winter months. Admission is free and suitable for the entire family.
