Seedy Saturday

Victoria's premier networking and educational event for gardeners of all abilities! Join us at the first gardening event of the year that features:

  • open-pollinated, organic, heritage and unique vegetable and flower seeds for sale direct from the growers
  • specialty and native plants, perennials, bulbs, bamboos, rare trees, succulents
  • vegetable seedlings
  • small fruits, fruit and nut trees
  • products from and for the garden
  • cheese, fish, eggs, preserves, local produce, flowers, herbs
  • mason bee boxes, honey, books
  • garden club and non-profit displays and demonstrations
  • Master Gardeners

Bring your own saved seeds to donate or trade at the Seed Exchange. Seeds should be cleaned, packaged in clear bags, and labelled with the variety and year saved.

The Free Speaker Presentations are one hour in length. Seating is limited, so be sure to come early for the topic of your choice. Click here for details.

The Kids' Space will offer simple activities supervised by Victoria Compost Education Centre volunteers; parents stay with their children. Hours: 10am - 2pm..

Seedy Cafe offers snacks, beverages and light lunches from 11am - 2pm
